If a wet sprinkler system is installed in a place where the fire intensity is high and the combustion is likely to expand in an environment exposed to the outside air, a metal heater may be used to prevent freezing. Metal heater was tested at outside temperature of -10 ℃ for 100 hours, and it was confirmed that metal heater was fully freeze prevention. Also, it was confirmed that the installation interval of the metal heater in the branch piping is proper 10 m.
