The Preparatiln and Application of A New Glassfiber Infil trate Agent

An unsaturated polyester ersin(acid number 30±5),by reducing pressure,can be prepared by means of the condensation polymerization between maleic anhydride and dihydric alcohols.The obtained resin contains the right carbon-carbon double bond with which polyethylene polyamine(i.e.,the leftover bits and pieces of ethyldiamine) and a given monoethanolamine can react to give an amino-polyester resin at normal pressure and 50-80℃.The resulting resin can be then converted into a slow-moving transparent brown and water-soluble liquid resin(signed as "SREA-1 resin") when neutralized with CH3COOH to enable its pH equaling to ca.6.The experiment of the forming process and reinforeing materials of glassfiber is done when infiltrants made up from the complex of the SREA-1 resin instead of SR-1 resin and fixing agenty Y or glass lubricant is used.And the result as in dicated above is satisfactory.
