The invention relates to a method for accessing packet data network (PDN) service, a system, a gateway and a terminal, the method comprises the following steps: receiving request information for accessing PND service, wherein the request information carries APN information of destination PDN service desired to be accessed; determining a PDN gateway serving the destination PDN service according toaccess point name information of the destination PDN service; and building connection for accessing the destination PDN service among PND gateways. The embodiment of the invention carries APN information of the destination PDN service by request information for activating or building service flow or request information for building DHCP session to cause the network side to select the PDN gateway serving the destination PDN service desired to be accessed according to the APN information, thereby building a connection between UE and the PDN gateway serving the destination PDN service desired tobe accessed so as to facilitate the UE to access the PDN service carried by the PDN gateway.
