Aspects of high-speed dilatometry as a method of examining transitions in steels and alloys

1986
Research on phase transitions is important in metallography. The common structural methods enable one to identify the structure, spatial distributions, relationships of phases to the matrix~ and so on, where particular significance attaches to methods enabling one to examine phase transitions during heating. Dilatometry is one of these, where the volume changes enable one to identify the type of transition and the range in which it occurs.
