Relationship between Micro-inflammation State of Chronic Renal Failure Malnutrition and the Syndrome Patterns in TCM Differential Diagnostics

2009
Objective:To study the relationship between micro-inflammation state of chronic renal failure(CRF)malnutrition and the syndrome patterns in TCM differential diagnostics. Methods:Selected 300 CRF malnutrition patients, including no dialysis group(ND126)、hemodialysis group(HD114)、peritoneal group(PD60),and divided them into mild、moderate and severe malnutrition group according to subjective global assessment(SGA).Healthy control group included 30 cases. All patients were detected serum hypersensitivity C reactive protein(hs-CRP)、interleukin-6(IL-6)、tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α).Investigated the relationship between micro-inflammation state of CRF malnutrition and the syndrome patterns in TCM differential diagnostics. Results:The level of serum hs-CRP、IL-6、TNF-α in CRF malnutrition patients were all higher than that in the healthy Control group.HsCRP、IL-6 and TNF-α in hepatic and renal Yin deficiency、Yin and Yang deficiency syndrome groups were higher than that in the other three groups obviously(P0.01 or 0.05),hs-CRP、IL-6 in damp-heat syndrome and pyretic toxicity syndrome groups were higher than that in the other two groups(P0.01 or 0.05),TNF-α in damp-heat syndrome group was higher than that in the other three groups obviously(P0.01 or 0.05).Conclusion:The micro-inflammation state is universally reside in CRF malnutrition patients,hs-CRP、IL-6、TNF-α are correlative with hepatic and renal Yin deficiency、Yin and Yang deficiency syndrome、damp-heat syndrome and pyretic toxicity syndrome.
