Possibility of Blocking River and Prevention Countermeasures for Kushuigou Debris Flow

In August 13,2010,Kushui gully occurred large-scale debris flow,blocked the main river,caused dam break and disaster.This article studies the causes of debris flow of available loose materials,landform,water conditions and basic characteristics.According to the sample and flood tracking section in gully,it calculates the static and kinetic parameters,such as the density of debris flow,yield stress,velocity and flow.And then,the possibility of blocking river by Kushuigou debris flow is analyzed.Finally,some prevention countermeasures are put forward.
