Hall effect of Tl2Ba2Ca2Cu3O10

1992
Abstract We report on measurements of the Hall effect, the magnetoresistivity and the thermal conductivity on a polycrystalline sample of Tl 2 Ba 2 Ca 2 Cu 3 O 10 at temperatures between 70 K and 200 K in magnetic fields up to 5 T. The Hall constant R H shows a broad maximum around T ≈150 K, followed by a rapid decrease with decreasing temperature. In the superconducting state R H shows a sign change near T c , which is suppressed with increasing magnetic field.
