Komplikationen der chronischen HBV-Infektion

The main complications of chronic viral B infection are briefly reviewed. The balance between the immune system of the host and viral replication, the histological definition of chronic hepatitis and the incidence of cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinome are delineated.
