During the combustion of natural gas in burners of a gas cooker there are formed nitrogen oxides that are emitted directly into the air of the room where is situated the cooker. The distribution and the concentrations of NO x depend above all upon the period of operation. The article presents some values gained by measuremnts of NO x concentrations in an experimental room during the operation of a large burner of the gas cooker MORA 217
