HOMOGENIZATION OF PYROPHYLLITE

The homogeneity of pyrophyllite has big influence on glass fiber forming. Through the experiment on pyrophyllite homogeneity,the factors affecting the homogenization of pyrophyllite,such as the size of solid granules and size distribution,the capacity of blending bins,the performance of homogenizing equipment,the homogenizing frequency and homogenizing time, were found. The homogeneity of pyrophyllite is expressed by the standard deviation of Si02 and A1203.
