The EcoRI site of simian virus 40 deoxyribonucleic acid: nucleotide sequences of the minus and plus strands.

Abstract The nucleotide sequences of the minus and plus strands of simian virus 40 DNA in a 17-base-pair segment spanning the Eco RI restriction site have been identified. The minus-strand sequence is (5′) T-G-G-C-G-A-G-A-A-T-T-C-C-T-T-T-G and the plus-strand sequence is its complement: (5′) C-A-A-A-G-G-A-A-T-T-C-T-C-G-C-C-A.
