The invention relates to a thermoformable, blank or strip-shaped semi-finished product (1) for producing a three-dimensionally shaped hybrid component (5) in the metal / plastic composite and a use of such a semi-finished product (1). Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for producing a three-dimensionally shaped hybrid component (5) in the metal / plastic composite. The inventive semifinished product (1) has at least one blank or strip-shaped metal sheet (1.1) and at least one on the metal sheet material-applied thermoplastic plastic layer (1.2), wherein the side of the metal sheet on which the plastic layer is applied, an adhesion of the plastic layer includes improving surface.
