10주간의 복합운동이 제2형 당뇨병 노인의 심박변이도, 심혈관기능 및 체력에 미치는 영향

2020
The study was designed to examine the effects of a 10-week combined exercise training on heart rate variability (HRV), cardiovascular function, and physical fitness in elderly with type 2 diabetes (T2DM). Twenty four elderly, who have been diagnosed as T2DM, were randomly assigned to one of following two groups, i.e., combined exercise training group (TR: n=12) and control group (CON: n=12). The subjects in the TR completed 60 min of combined exercise of aerobic exercise (at 60-80% of HRmax) and resistance exercise (at 60-70% of 1-RM) three times a week during 10 weeks, whereas the subjects in the CON were asked to maintain their normal lifestyle during the same period of intervention. Dependent variables regarding HRV, cardiovascular function, and physical fitness were measured and compared between two groups as well as between two tests simultaneously using a repeated two-way ANOVA. Main results obtained in the present study were as follows: 1) HRV did not change significantly in both groups. 2) SBP and RPP decreased significantly in the TR. 3) 10m normal walking speed and 3m tendam test improved significantly in the TR. It was concluded that the 10-week combined exercise training would contribute to the improvement of the cardiovascular function and physical fitness in T2DM elderly.
