A Sensorless Direct Torque Control Technique for Permanent Magnet

A novel sensorless direct torque control scheme for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) is presented. The rotor position and actual torque is estimated based on the stator flux estimation. The error between the estimated and command torque controls the stator flux and voltage vector to obtain the desired torque. Computer simulation and experimen- tal results are presented to substantiate the proposed scheme.
