Role of Oxidative Pre‐Calcination in Extending Blue Emission of Sr4Al14O25 Nanophosphors Formed with Microemulsions.

Single phase blue emitting long persistence Sr4-x-yEuxDyyAl14O25 (0.005 ≤ x ≤ 0.04; 0.01 ≤ y ≤ 0.01) nanophosphors are synthesized in the presence of 5 mol% boric acid at 1100 °C in a reducing atmosphere for 3 h from precursor particles which are formed within microemulsions and pre-calcined at 1000 °C in ambient atmosphere for 2 h.
