Multimedia data synthesis method and related device

Embodiments of the present invention provide a multimedia data synthesis method and a related device. The method comprises: controlling a playback device to play first multimedia data to a user; acquiring second multimedia data input by the user; determining a correspondence between playback starting points of the first multimedia data and the second multimedia data; synchronizing PTSs of the first multimedia data and the second multimedia data by using the correspondence; and synthesizing the first and the second multimedia data after the PTS synchronization. It can be seen that, in the embodiments of the present invention, the first multimedia data is played to the user, and the user is enabled to determine the correspondence between the playback starting points of the first multimedia data and the second multimedia data, synchronize the PTSs of the first and the second multimedia data by using the correspondence and further synthesize the first and the second multimedia data. Therefore, an automatic synchronization and synthesis process is implemented, and the user does not need to operate specialized software or a specialized device to implement post-synthesis of the multimedia data, so that the time and efforts are saved and the user experience is improved.
