The effect of a cement lining upon temperature rise during the curing composite by visible light the of

1987
The temperature rise beneath a cement lining when the overlying composite is cured by visible light has been investigated for the variables of lining material (4) and light source (5 ). Rises up to 12.7 “C were recorded, confirming a significant passage of heat through the lining during curing. The size of this rise is shown to depend upon both the choice of light unit and the thermal diffusivity of the lining material.
