Carcasses characteristics and tissue composition of 20 crossbred male lambs, not castrated, 120 days old, and initial body weight of 22.6 ± 2.06 kg were evaluated. The feedlot diets were composed with whole or disabled soybean and 50% or 80% of concentrate levels. The slaughter criterion was the body condition 3 (normal) to 3.5 (slightly greasy). The completely randomized design was used, allocated in 2x2 a factorial arrangement (processing of soybean grain and levels concentrate). The real yield was lowest among the animals fed diet with 50% concentrate containing in natura soybeans. Diets with 80% of concentrate level influenced (P <0.05) the cold carcass weight (15.63% x 14.27%), hot carcass yield (47.14% x 45.46%), cold carcass yield (45.97% x 44, 13%), texture in Longissimus dorsi muscle (4.44 x 3.85) and greater muscle weight (3.878 kg x 3.411 kg). Carcasses of animals fed diets containing 50% concentrate had (P <0.05) greater cooling weight losses (2.97% x 2.49%). Diets containing soybean disabled influenced (P <0.05) cold carcass yield (45.77% x 44.14%), texture in Longissimus dorsi muscle (4.35 x 3.89) of the muscle: bone ratio (2.90 x 2.65). A diet with 80% concentrate containing grain and soy disabled positively influenced the characteristics and tissue composition of carcasses from feedlot lambs.
