SMART OPERATIONAL FIELD TEST EVALUATION CUSTOMER SURVEY REPORT : FINAL REPORT

This report describes a survey which was conducted in order to examine customers' attitudes toward and perspectives on the Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) paratransit services. Advanced publication transportation systems (APTS) were implemented to update the paratransit operations. The system was outfitted with an automated scheduling and dispatch (ASD) product known as Quo Vadis in order to enhance its paratransit operations known as Community Transit. Productivity measures that were assessed in the survey included: satisfaction with scheduling, accessibility, efficiency, and convenience. Survey results revealed generally high levels of customer satisfaction.
