Effect of Shuanghuanglian Powder-Injection on Drug-resistance of ESBLs-producing Escherichia coli

Objective:To investigate the effect of Shuanghuanglian on drug-resistance of ESBLs-producing Escherichia coli in and out of body.Methods:ESBLs-producing E.coli was isolated from clinical patients,Kirby-Bauer(KB)method was used to determine drug sensitivity before and after treatment of Shuanghuanglian;40 SD rats were divided into 4 teams randomly,each of them was injected with 2.5×108/mL bacteria into tail vein to produce infected animal model and administered respective drug by group for 5 days,common state and grown bacterial cultures were observed and noted and the numbers of leucocyte at 1 hour after infected and on 5th day were counted,Kirby-Bauer method was used to determine drug sensitivity.Results:After the treatment of Shuanghuanglian,inhibition zone of cefoperazone and cefoperazone sulbactam were increased(P0.05);in vivo experiments,compared with model group and CPS group,the temperature of traditional Chinese drug associated with CPS dropped significantly(P0.05),the value of leucocyte of traditional Chinese drug associated with CPS dropped significantly(P0.05),inhibition zone of cefoperazone and cefoperazone sulbactam inhibition zone were increased than that before treatment and the model group(P0.05).Conclusion:Shuanghuanglian can increase the sensitivity of ESBLs-producing E.coli to antibiotics.Combined with cefoperazone / sulbactam,it has synergistic antibacterial effect on ESBLs(+)Escherichia coli,which can improve the curative effect.
