Study on the Aging Performance of Regenerated SBS Modified Asphalt

Using regenerated SBS modified asphalt as raw material,the relations between properties of regenerated SBS modified asphalt,such as the softening point,penetration,ductility and apparent viscosity,and different aging time at varying aging temperature were studied by the rolling thin film oven test.Based on the parameter of the softening point,aging kinetic model was established to study the anti-aging performance of the regenerated SBS modified asphalt.The results show that the physical and chemical properties of the regenerated SBS modified asphalt have distinct changes during different aging times,as well as different aging rate.The aging process of the regenerated SBS modified asphalt can be well expressed by the established aging kinetic model.
