A Coarse and Precise Fusion Algorithm for Velocity Measuring of Millimeter Wave in the Bore

Aiming at the problems of the echo signal with low signal-to-noise ratio and the absence of some velocity segments in the velocity measurement process of millimeter wave radar in bore, a millimeter wave radar echo signal processing scheme is proposed. Based on the analysis of millimeter wave Doppler radar system structure, the respect such as frequency optimization are analyzed in detail, on the one hand optimize parameter in crude speed STFT(Short Time Fourier Transform), and to improve speed range as far as possible, on the other hand through time-frequency extrusion, combined with the interior motion frequency optimization, improve the accuracy of the wavelet pure speed. Experimental results show that the proposed velocity measurement algorithm can effectively overcome the problem of missing segments of some velocity segments in the velocity measurement of the moving body in the 40mm bore, and better reflect the changing law of velocity in the bore.
