Grader and ripper thereof

2012
A grader and a ripper thereof, comprising an oil cylinder (7), a pair of cantilevers (5), tooth racks (15) fixed on one end of each of the pair of cantilevers (5), and ripper teeth (11) fixed on the tooth racks (15). The other ends of the pair of booms (5) are hinged to a tractor frame (10) via a first hinge shaft (3). One end of the oil cylinder (7) is hinged to the tractor frame (10) via a second hinge shaft (9), while the other end of the oil cylinder (7) is hinged to the one pair of cantilevers (5) or the tooth racks (15) via a third hinge shaft (6). The pair of cantilevers (5) is driven by the oil cylinder (7) to swing around the first hinge shaft (3). By arranging the ripper on the tractor frame (10), movement interference is prevented to the greatest extent possible between the ripper and other parts such as the tractor frame (10), a front axle (2), and wheels. Also, because the ripper is arranged under the tractor frame (10), power transmission is facilitated, and only the oil cylinder (7) is required for hinging to the pair of cantilevers (5) or the tooth rack (15). Also comprised is the grader provided with the ripper.
