Power line communication modem

The invention provides a power line communication modem. The power line communication modem comprises a shell, a power line communication modem module and functional units installed in the shell; the functional units comprise a power line communication unit and a peripheral interface circuit; the functional units further comprise a power source conversion circuit and a central processing unit circuit; the power source conversion circuit is connected with the peripheral interface circuit, the central processing unit circuit and the power line communication unit; the central processing unit circuit is connected with a storage circuit, the peripheral interface circuit and the power line communication unit; the power source conversion circuit includes an alternating current output unit and an alternating current/direct current conversion unit; the alternating current/direct current conversion unit is provided with at least one direct current output interface; and the alternating current output unit is provided with at least one alternating current output interface. With the power line communication modem of the invention adopted, alternating current power source output and direct current power source output can be provided for surrounding environment when network stable output is provided; and since the installation position of the product is determined, a wireless transmission module can be omitted, so that cost can be reduced.
