Experimentell basierte Bewertung oxidativer Verfahren zur Entfernung von EDTA aus Uferfiltraten bei der Trinkwasseraufbereitung

The present study is aimed at comparing different oxidation methods (ozonation, H 2 O 2 -ozonation and H 2 O 2 -UV oxidation) for the degradation of EDTA in raw water obtained by bank filtration as part of a drinking-water treatment process. It can be derived from the results of experimental investigations that the H 2 O 2 -UV oxidation offers real advantages with respect to the formation of undesired by-products including bromate.
