Psychological Disorder of Emma Bovary as a Wife toward Sexuality Dissatisfaction in Gustave Flaubert Madame Bovary

The aim of this research are to describe the effects of psychology problem of the Emma Bovary life: Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert 1857, as represented through sexuality problem of the personality. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative with psychoanalysis approach. Data in this research were collected from the description and utterance of the characters and narratives in the novel. The results of this research, showed that in the psychological problems of sexuality Emma Bovary was in dissatisfaction with sexuality as a wife, this psychological problems had the influence upon her environment so that Emma’s attitudes emerged; with depression, anxiety and changes of behavior. By analyzing the psychological of Emma Bovary through id, ego and superego we can knew a basic notion of the influence the emergence psychological problems of sexuality, especially to someone who in her life has a disorder or psychological problems to satisfy their sexuality.
