Electrical Measurement as an Alternative Method to Assess Soil Properties in Volcanic Area

2015
A soil electrical survey has been conducted on Jangkang Field, around November to December 2013. The soil electrical survey is followed by soil sample acquisition from five points in the field. The soil sample properties are then compared to mean true resistivity of soil from 75-120 cm depth, as a proxy for true soil resistivity data. We obtain a strong correlation between true resistivity and soil nitrogen content, phosphorus content, and density.
