Research on Grid Resources' Clustering Methods

Clustering grid resources is benefit to allocating and scheduling them. According to the characteristics of grid resources, this paper draws the conclusion that the density-based clustering algorithms and grid-based clustering algorithms are not that fit for the grid resources' clustering. Then it introduces an applicable algorithm-CLONE, which is density-and-grid based and discusses its applicability. Finally, a comparing experiment between CLONE and two typical algorithms respectively confirms the conclusion.
