P2_2 To Catch a Bullet
2015
We calculated exactly how much stronger and faster a human would need to be to catch a bullet. A 9mm round fired from a distance of 15 feet, being caught between the thumb and index finger would require the catcher to be 10 times faster than the fastest recorded human, and have a ‘pinch’ force 1.6x 103 times stronger than the average person.
