Painful Piezogenic Pedal Papules

1970
Piezogenic papule is the term used to describe the soft, skin-colored painful papule that appears when standing on the nonweight-bearing portion of the heel and which disappears when weight is taken off the foot. These papules are thought to be due to herniation of fat. Four cases are reported.
