Comparative Study of the Units Serial and Parallel Recovery Strategy after Blackout

After the regional blackout, the power system is to find stable black start power units since the launch of the grid as soon as possible to restore, while in select the start unit enforcement serial recovery or parallel recovery, there is no specific guidance method until the present. In this paper, comparative study the serial recovery strategy which concern to optimize the period of time the unit power generation for the target and parallel recovery strategy for first divide power system into several subsystems, then this subsystems start at the same time. Finally, the 10-machine 39-bus system is used to illustrate these recovery methods.
