Monoacylglycerol phosphatide accumulation and the alteration of the properties of benzodiazepine receptors in the brain synaptosomes

1985
: Phospholipase A2-induced changes in the affinity of benzodiazepine receptors are due to accumulation of monoacylglycerol phosphatides, and not fatty acids, in the membranes. The data show the regulatory role of membrane phospholipids in ligand-receptor interaction.
