The correlation of the serum levels of HA and PCIII with the pathological grade and stage of chronic hepatitis B.

Objective To study the correlation of the serum levels of HA and PCIII with the pathological grade and stage of chronic hepatitis B.Methods Serum levels of HA and PCⅢ in 111 patients with chronic hepatitis B were measured by radio-immunological assay and correlated with the pathology diagnosis.Results The more severity of inflammation and hepatic fibrosis,the higher are the serum levels of HA and PCⅢ.Conclusion The serum levels of HA and PCⅢ can reflect the severity of inflammation and fibrosis of the liver in the chronic hepatitis B patients.
