Clinical analysis of 85 cases of invasive pulmonary fungal infection

Objective:To investigate clinical features and risk factors of invasive pulmonary fungal infection(IPFI).Methods:A retrospective investigation of clinical data from our hospital's data banks between Jan.2008 and Sep.2009 queried for 85 patients diagnose as invasive pulmonary fungal infection.Results:The average age of 85 patients was 62-year-old.Candida albiacns(61 total) was the major athogen in the investigation.Serious underlying disease,long-term joint use of antibiotics,glucocorticoid using were the major risk factors of IPFI.The mortality of IPFI was high.Conclusion:To prevent and control IPFI in hospitalized patients,the measures such as curing the underlying diseases,reducing invasive surgical procedures,and using antibiotics reasonably should be adopted.
