NANOFLUID CAPILLARY CONDENSATION HEAT TRANSFER IN A MICROCHANNEL.

This article presents an analytical model ofcondensation heat transfer of nanofluids inside a square microchannel. The nonlinear ordinary differential equationsgoverning the two-phase flow are solved using theRunge-Kutta 4th Order method.The influence of the various physical parameters on the condensation heat transfer coefficient, film thickness and pressure drop is investigated. A comparison with the already existing solutions is also made.It is observed that the heat transfer coefficient profile decreases with an increase in the nanoparticles volume fraction. Furthermore, nanoparticles can be used to enhance the energy efficiency of microcondensers.
