CT diagnosis of adrenal myelol ipoma

Objective To analyse the CT features of adrenal myelolipoma (AM) and discuss the differential point s in diagnosis. Methods 12 cases of AM with CT scan, clinical and pathological information were collected. Results Among the 12 cases, 10 were definitely diagnosed as AM with CT, while 1 misdiagnosed as adenoma. 8 tumors were located in the right adrenl . All the 12 tumors were measused about 2. 0 ～11.5 cm in diameter with clear edge, large amount of low fatty attenuation value and small amount of irregular sof t tissue linear shadow insida. Conclusion CT scan is the best way to diagnose adrenl myelolipama for it can clearly show tumorsplocation, component and relation with surrounding organs.
