The influence of transformational leadership on organisational citizenship behaviour through justice and trust

An organisation's ability to elicit Organisational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB), a willingness to contribute beyond the call of duty, can be a key asset. Structural Equation Modelling was used to test a model in which both procedural justice and trust in the leader mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and OCB. The results indicate that transformational leadership exerts a positive influence on OCB, through procedural justice and trust. However, transformational leadership docs not directly leadto trust.
