Structure and hydrogen-bonding interactions in jet-cooled tropolone–acetone

Abstract The electronic spectrum of a jet-cooled tropolone–acetone 1:1 complex has been measured to examine the effects of the intermolecular hydrogen bond on the intramolecular hydrogen bond of tropolone. The stable structure, vibrational frequencies and the spectral shift have been discussed by combining the experimental results with ab initio data.
