(20 mL, 0.024 mol) inethanol solution and triethylamine (6.65 g, 0.048 mol) were cooled to 5°C under stirring. Then carbon disulfide(3.65 g. 0.48 mol) was added to the solution. After 1 hour of stirring, solid iodine (2,8 g, 0.022 mol) was addedin portions and stirred until the colour disappeared completely.
