Availability analysis of five years of operation of the superconducting tokamak Tore Supra

The superconducting tokamak Tore Supra (TS) is in operation since march 1988. During this period, operation was interrupted for commissioning, new components installation or failure of operating systems. An analysis of the operation calendar of TS is made by comparing the number of actual days with the number of potential operation days. During one day, the actual experimentation time is compared with potential time reduced by various system faults. Then some availability indicators over the last five years of TS are given.
