Analysis of Heat Release Mode for Diesel Engine

The inner engine control of NOx and PM emission was researched and the influences of high-pressure injection and EGR on diesel engine emission were analyzed.Based on this,the threshold values of heat release rate in low NOx and low PM ideal combustion modes were determined.The results show that the corresponding normalized heat release rate is 0.045-0.049 °CA-1 when the NOx emission meets the Euro Ⅳ requirement;and it is 0.045-0.06 °CA-1 when the PM emission satisfies the Euro Ⅳ requirement.As a result,it is 0.045-0.049 °CA-1 when the NOx and PM emission simultaneously reach the Euro Ⅳ standards.
