Effect of fertilizers and manure on profile distribution of phosphorus and crop yield
2014
The application of FYM along with 100% recommended dose (20:80:20 kg/ha) of NPK, increased content of Saloid Phosphorus (Saloid P), Aluminium Phosphorus (Al P), Iron Phosphorus (Fe -P), Occluded Phosphorus (Occl -P) and Calcium Phosphorus (Ca -P) over other treatments significantly at the depths of 0–20, 20–40 and 40–60 cm. However, Ca-P form was found in higher amounts followed by Fe-P and Al-P, while Saloid-P contributed least. Maximum yield (1844 kg/ha) of soybean crop (var. JS 9752) was recorded when 100% NPK + FYM was applied @ 15 tonn/ha to soybean crop. The yield of soybean was significantly correlated with various P fractions showing maximum correlation coefficient (r) with Al P (r = 0.805) while the least correlation value was observed with Saloid P fraction -(r = 0.687).
