PENGARUH WCT, HUTANG DAN MODAL SENDIRI TERHADAP PROFITABILITAS PERUSAHAAN FOOD AND BEVERAGES

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of working capital turnover, short-term debt, long-term debt and own capital to the profitability. The research samples are 12 food and beverages companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange and have been selected by using purposive sampling. The analysis technique has been done by using is multiple linear regression analysis. Comparative causal research has been applied by the researcher in this research. The data has been taken is a complete audit report in 2011-2015 periods. Based on the result of the F test, it indicates that the working capital turnover, short-term debt, long-term debt and equity capital simultaneously give influence profitability. Based on the result of the regression coefficient and t test shows that the variables of working capital turnover and long-term debt give significant and negative influence to the profitability; short-term debt does not give any significant and negative influence to the profitability and own capital give significant and positive influence to the profitability. This is indicated by the significant value which has been generated by the variable is smaller or greater than the value of α = 5%.
