Organosilicon oligomers containing symmetrical triazine rings

Abstract α, ω-Bis(phenylaminomethyl)dimethylsiloxanes were synthesized by amination of the corresponding α, ω-bis(chloromethyl)dimethylsiloxane, followed by high temperature polycondensation in the melt with diphenylaminocyanur chloride; this yielded heat resistant oligomers whose properties were studied. The IR-spectra confirmed the compositions of the oligomers.
