Treatment of Hemorrhoid by Indomethacine Suppository

Rectal administration of Indomethacine suppository was employed to treat hemorrhoid concervatively and to remove pain after anal surgery.Results;(1) pain ; 1 week after effective in 52% cases and 2 weeks after 80% effective in total.(2) hemorrhage ; 1 week after effective in 44.4% and 2 weeks after in 76% cases.(3) effect for prolaps of pile; grade 1-not examined. grade 2-effective in 44.4% cases (1 week after). grade 3-effective in 50% cases (1 week after).This agent was useful for hemorrhoid.Immediately after surgery of anal region this suppository was administrated to remove pain and edema. Effectiveness was remarkable, so no narcotics required.
