Multicenter Francophone Study of the Endovascular Treatment of Leg Arteries: Analyzes and Results in the Short and Medium Term

2014
the clinical improvement in a statistically significant way was the selective stenting with a secondary patency of 85% vs 37% (p1⁄40.013), a rate of major amputation of 5% vs 36.4% (p1⁄40.042) and a rate of healing of 85% vs 36.4% (p1⁄40.013). Conclusion: The selective stenting made it possible to improve the six months and one year results of tibial TLA in the event of arterial dissection or residual post dilation stenosis. The results of primary stenting were less favorable in particular in cases of poor downstream bed of bypasses.
