Method and apparatus for producing monodisperse polymer beads

PURPOSE: A preparing method and an apparatus of a moodisperse polymer bead are provided to accurately proceed processes for spraying a monomer solution, and to prevent the agglomeration between particles during the polymerization. CONSTITUTION: A preparing method of a moodisperse polymer bead comprises the following steps: forming a monomer solution by mixing 19.5~95wt% of styrene, 4.5~80wt% of divinylbenzene, and 0.5~2wt% of polymerization initiator(S1); spraying the monomer solution as monomer droplets with the particle size of 200~1,000 microns(S2); and forming the polymer bead by polymerizing the monomer droplets at an aqueous polyvinylalcohol solution at 50~80 deg C(S3).
