Investigações no Cemitério de Vila Formosa, São Paulo-SP: Descoberta de Ossário com o Emprego de GPR

During investigations on the presence of a mass grave hidden underside of a garden in the graveyard of Vila Formosa, Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil, forensic experts discovered rectangular structure using GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar). In the excavations, a forgotten ossuary containing thousands of bones in plastic bags were found. This was a joint action of the Brazilian Federal Police and the Human Rights Secretariat linked to President of Brazil in search of political disappearances during the military dictatorship (1964-1983).
