The invention discloses a full-digital three-component VSP (vertical seismic profile) system and a measuring method thereof. The full-digital three-component VSP system is composed of digital exploring tubes, a data acquisition station, a control host and a storage battery, wherein the digital exploring tubes are arranged underground and sequentially connected end to end, and the data acquisition station, the control host and the storage battery are arranged on the ground; the control host operates a network data acquisition control application program, is directly connected with the data acquisition station in an Ethernet or USB mode, indirectly realizes control for each digital exploring tube through the data acquisition station, and completes functions comprising data acquisition, data display, data processing and state monitoring. According to the invention, improvements are carried out on traditional VSP equipment on the aspects of sensors, the data transmission mode and the exploring tube control mode by using the idea of digitization, the new full-digital three-component VSP system and the measuring method thereof are provided, and problems of heavy communication cables, low construction efficiency, difficulty in expansion and cutting, and unsuitability for shallow VSP exploration of an existing VSP system are solved. The instrument has an extremely flexible system structure, and the exploration efficiency and the exploration precision can be greatly improved.
