Objective: To study the fingerprints correlated with pharmacodynamic on the basis of HPLC fingerprint and the decrease whole blood viscosity potency of acute blood stasis rats.In order to definite the effective compounds of the decrease whole blood viscosity potency of acute blood stasis rats.Methods: Study the inherent connections between HPLC fingerprint and the decrease whole blood viscosity potency of acute blood stasis rats of Polygoni Cuspidati by the new type of multiple statistical analysis method-partial least squares regression(PLSR),receive the coefficient of regression of HPLC fingerprint peak area correspondence the decrease whole blood viscosity potency.Results: Effective compounds consist of the six peaks X1,X2,X7,X13,X17,X21 of the fingerprint do the most important role on the decrease whole blood viscosity potency.Conclusion: The TCM with the correct treatment based on syndrome differentiation,and was according to the effect of Chinese medicine to treat patients,so,the effective compounds which reflect the Chinese medicine efficacy was the key of quality evaluation of TCM,the representative of the effective compositions should be verified eventually by efficacy.
